Thank you for your interest in Classic Images. Representing some of the finest cinematographers and vintage collections in the world as well as our own extensive collection of vintage films, Classic Images has the most comprehensive library of color contemporary and vintage subjects available.

With over 5000 titles in our vaults, our archives contain motion picture images from the turn of the century through the present. We are constantly adding footage to our library and over the past year we have acquired a substantial amount of contemporary, educational and historical films. We are committed to an ongoing program of acquisitions to keep our library fresh and competitive.

Subjects available include: time-lapse (clouds, suns, moons, flowers, scenics etc.), lightning, aerials, wildlife (underwater, North & South American, African, Polar etc.), foreign locations, Americana, sports (skiing, snowboarding, surfing, jet skiing, windsurfing, rodeo, horse racing, car racing, speed skating, i.e. climbing, marathon etc.), celebrities, fads, industry, lifestyles, military, music, newsreels, slapstick, stunts and much more.

With our network of resources we can help our clients locate the clips they need, originating from the highest quality elements available. All footage is catalogued on a computer database so we can find shots quickly and deliver the material as soon as it is needed.

One of the many qualities that sets Classic Images apart from other stock footage libraries is the experience of our staff and our ability to deal with legal and historical issues that very often arise in the area of vintage film and stock footage. We are a storehouse of knowledge concerning film properties and personalities and their legal clearances.

Our company was started at the historic Warner Hollywood Studios in West Hollywood California, one of the most fabled studio lots that was the studio of Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks and later became the Samuel Goldwyn Studios. On this site the motion pictures and legendary talent that made Hollywood famous were created. We have now moved to larger headquarters in Beverly Hills, California, but our appreciation of this heritage gives us an historic perspective unmatched by other stock footage libraries.

Our commitment to quality, competitive prices and creative personalized service has established Classic Images as the foremost resource for stock footage. We look forward to working with you and would be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning our services.
